OUR TRIP TO NARRABRI
To attend the wedding of Catherine McDonald and Martin Browne
Local Chemist proprietors’ of Narrabri on the 11 September 2010
It was the wedding of the year for this town in New South Wales, and Brides Best Friend was privileged to be asked to be a part of it, a seven and half hour trip, but the team was eager to be part of this very special wedding to a lovely couple and we couldn’t say no. Sharon, the Photographer, Tony, the Videographer and Eliza, the Hairstylist packed up and started their long trip in the wee small hours of the morning, a breakfast break in the road trip and a few laughs along the way ensured we arrived on time and refreshed.
The day of the wedding with eliza getting the girls up bright and early at 5am to start getting them ready. Catherine who chose a beautiful hairstyle previously on her trial day at our studio- a must for any Bride for her special day.
Sharon and Tony's day started a little later just before lunch at Martin’s beautiful family home for pre wedding shots with his wedding party Jason, Peter, Harry, Marjorie, pageboy Jackson and family members.
Then Sharon and Tony arrived at Craigdon House for location shots of the Bride, Catherine and her family, with its beautiful gardens and surrounds proved to be just perfect.
The Bride arrived at the Anglican Church in Dewhurst Street , to the church bells ringing, and the Groom patiently waiting in the beautifully decorated Church by their wedding co-ordinator Steve.
After the ceremony the Bride and Groom and wedding party accompanied Sharon and Tony to requested locations, The Railway
Station, the historical Jail and the mountains for their Wedding shots.
The wedding reception was held at The Crossing Theatre in Tibberreena Street Narrabri. The bare reception room was transformed by Steve the wedding co-ordinator using backdrops and flowing fabric, which looked absolutely fantastic with beautiful pink and purple decorations chosen by Catherine and Martin.
A great time was had by all with beautiful food, good music and wine. To complete the evening, fireworks to the amazement of all, one of the many highlights of the day.
